Paws In Need

Rocky was found limping and wounded as he was walking in south Phoenix by a good citizen who did the right thing and checked him for a chip. Since he was injured, Rocky was brought to the AZHS in the hopes he would be nursed to health and find a loving home. That was the furthest thing that would have happened to him if the good citizens didn’t step up. The AZHS was going to either return him (in horrible condition, unfixed, needing medical attention) to his owners, release him to the finders or euthanize him. Rocky would not be seen by the public to be adopted! We were outraged and decided to step in and take him once the finders took ownership. Rocky is possibly 4 years old and a mix of Bulldog and American Staffy mix. Rocky has been an absolute pleasure, amazing in his crate, friendly with everyone he meets, getting healthy and fixed soon and he seems good with dogs! His adoption fee is $250  includes: microchip, vaccines, rabies and spay/ neuter, training session and puppy kisses!
